Suzanne Eberhardt having founded and acted as creative director/CEO of her own design studio, Eberhardt Design, (www.eberhardtdesign.com) in New York City for the past thirty years, has recently added a location in her native home of Buffalo, NY. " It's an exciting time in Buffalo- so much resurrgence and I wanted to be part of it and I simply missed Buffalo! I love the snow, and the cozi feeling it brings. People so often can only relate to Buffalo as a snow belt and yet its one of the best designed cities in America or even the world " She brings with her years of experience of integrating art and interior design in contemporary environments. Her studio does custom woodwork design and furniture and any other object you desire. We have even designed fountain pen holders for a doctors private office.
Eberhardt studied design at Parsons New School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City, and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in design from the Buffalo State College. Suzanne lectured at Buffalo State College this spring "2015" - Intro to Color Rendering ".
Photographs of Eberhardt's work have been published in numerous art and design magazines, including Professional Office Design, Design for Law Offices, Home Portfiolio and others. Her high-style floral designs have set a sophisticated and artistic tone for the distinguished "Joyce Theater " ( http://www.joyce.org) auction events and galas, the internationally renowned dance venue. Eberhardt is also a jazz singer, as well as an illustrator utilizing pointillism along with other techniques to convey design intent and everyday scenes. I felt I needed another creative outlet to inspire round myself out , one that challenged another part of my brain and in NYC where better to do so. Her luxurious, sustainable interiors obliterate the boundaries between the quotation and art. Eberhardt has for many years actively used her talents and management skills to support DIFFA- Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, Bailey Holt House, and Habitat for Humanity. “I am thrilled to be back in Buffalo and working on CITY of Night 2014
and contributing to the community at large.”
